After over a year of closure, we’re pleased to announce both The Silk Museum and Paradise Mill will re-open their doors again to visitors on 20th May 2021.
Initially, opening on Thursdays and Saturdays only, with more days added at the start of the school Summer holidays in July.
To control visitor numbers, entry to both buildings is by pre-booked tickets. The Silk Museum will open 10-4pm, with half hourly slots and limited numbers for social distancing.
There’s no need to book if you want to visit our shop – we kindly ask you to wear a face covering and use our hand sanitisers.
As we’re open for fewer days, we’re increasing the number of tours to four on Thursdays and Saturdays at Paradise Mill: 10.15-11.15am | 11.30-12.30pm | 1-2pm | 2.15-3.15pm.
Up to 6 tickets can be booked for groups of up to 6 people, including children, or 2 households.
Don’t forget your mask and socially distance! Hand sanitiser stations are available throughout. Staff will be wearing face-coverings or masks and we expect visitors to wear a face covering too. However, we realise it’s not possible for everyone.
We can’t wait to welcome you back!
