When writing stories based in the past you can bring your characters to life by using popular sayings or phrases from the time.
Get your old family photos out and share some memorable stories!
This is a great activity to do with grandparents or older family members and could be done on a video chat.
Children love to hear about the differences between life now and the childhoods of their parents and or grandparents. Imagine a time before the internet, mobile phones or Minecraft!
