Story Time

Macclesfield Museums are packed with objects that all have a story to tell and we are sure that you do too. This week we have activites to help you create stories and play games with them too.

On Friday 14 August finish your week with bedtime stories with Jan Blake and Peter Chand 6.30-7.30pm on Facebook live. Click here for Macc Museums Facebook page

Story stones

Make a set of story stones and use them to create your own exciting stories.

Family photos

Family photos

Get your old family photos out and share some memorable stories!

This is a great activity to do with grandparents or older family members and could be done on a video chat.

Children love to hear about the differences between life now and the childhoods of their parents and or grandparents. Imagine a time before the internet, mobile phones or Minecraft!
