The Tea Kitchen specialise in teas from around the world (China, India, Sri Lanka & Taiwan so far) served in individual infuser pots. However, as the name suggests, it’s not just about tea – there is also fabulous food – with weekly homemade specials, hearty soups and ‘proper’ old fashioned puddings.
The Tea Kitchen also caters for group visits and meetings at the Old Sunday School. Please contact Katie James on 01625 613210 or [email protected] for details.
Appearing throughout the year at The Tea Kitchen is a series of changing exhibitions from local artists, so you can have a feast for the eye as well as the taste buds as you enjoy your afternoon tea and cake!
Two to three artists share the space for 8 to 9 weeks at a time. Some of the work is for sale. There will always be something new to see with a range of different artistic styles, from print making to watercolours, etchings to photography. If you are interested in displaying your work, contact Vicky Griffiths
