Intastitch: A Sense of Place

Intastitch is a group of contemporary textile artists who have been meeting for several years in Bollington Arts Centre to share, explore and develop their art.  Members come from Macclesfield and the surrounding area.

The group adopted its name in 2014 and since then has taken part in a number of exhibitions demonstrating the range of skills and experience of its members.  Their artwork involves a variety of techniques, including dyeing and printing fabric, embroidery, machine stitching, felt work, painting, applique, patchwork, quilting and more.

The pieces in the exhibition are each member’s personal interpretation of “A Sense of Place”.
